Classification of Enamelled Wire

According to the coating is divided into:

1. Polyamine formate enameled wire (UEW) is divided into OUEW(Triple),1UEW(Heavy or Double), 2UEW(Single), and UEW is the most widely used type of linear, of which 2UEW and 1UEW are the most commonly used.

Its form is divided into single strand, multi-strand stranded wire (LITZ, also known as Li branch) and silk-covered wire (UTSC) three categories. Among them, LITZ is one or multiple stranding, which aims to reduce the influence of skin effect and reduce the hard copper wire and difficult production operation: UTSC is wrapped with glass fiber for multiple strands of unstranded wire, which has strong mechanical strength and wear strength, and also has the advantages of reducing skin effect and convenient operation.
From the temperature grade, it is usually divided into: Class B 130℃(NEMAMW-C)5F 155℃(MW7C9) two kinds
A Nylon coating can be added to the UEW patent leather to enhance its mechanical strength and wear resistance, which can be expressed as UEW+NY, where grade B 130℃(MW2C8) grade F (MW8C0)

2. Polyester enamelled wire (PEW), divided into OPEW(Triple),1PEW(Heavy or Double),2PEW(Single) according to the decreasing thickness of the enamelled film, it is a widely used linear, at a high working temperature, the insulation layer has good stability, and the patent leather has good wear resistance.
Its characteristics are: need to remove the patent skin after soldering.
There are two types of single strand and multi-strand strand in its form.
PEW patent leather can be added with a Nylon coating to enhance its mechanical strength and wear resistance, can be expressed as PEW+NY,F class 155℃(MW2C4)

3. Other types of wire such as: PVE,EIW,EAIW, etc.
