What are the Main Insulation Materials Inside the Transformer?
Oil-immersed transformers are mainly insulating paper and insulating oil, generally using A class insulating materials. By wood, cotton, paper, fiber and other natural textiles, based on acetate fiber and polyester amine textiles, as well as easy to thermal decomposition and low melting point of plastic, work in mineral oil, or by oil resin composite rubber immersion, its limit working temperature is 105℃.
Dry transformer is mainly epoxy resin, preimpregnated cloth, insulation paint, insulation board, generally using H class insulation materials. With no reinforcement or inorganic materials for weak mica products, thickened F grade materials, composite mica, silicone mica products, silicone organic paint, silicone organic rubber polyimide composite glass cloth, composite film, polyimide paint, its limit working temperature is 180℃.
