Diamond pattern resin coated polyester film Diamond pattern resin coated polyester film (DPRCPF) is a good kind of insulating materials which spreads a special kind of modified insulating epoxy resin on the polyester films in electrical class in with the DP shaped resin. It is widely used in the gas and oil insulation system. The diamond pattern resin coating melts at baking temperatures and fuses together the layers of polyester film and conductors to be a firm bond. Prolonged heating of the coil during the normal baking cycle cures (or crosslinks) the resin, thus in suring permanent resistance to the internal heat and the forces for the lifetime of transformers. Coils made from DPRCPF are able to withstand axial short circuit forces far better than coils made from uncoated polyester films. Because the point shape of resin coat not cover all the surface, the passages without coat are best useful to degas and intrude oil and SF6 insulating materials.It reduces the broken degree of electrical-halo and partial discharge to the lowest. DPRCPF has already been widely used in electrical equipments as layers insulating materials such as mutual inductance machines transformers and etc.
