Principle of three-phase voltage regulator

Three-phase voltage regulator is an adjustable autotransformer, can be used as a stepless smooth regulation of three-phase load equipment, also known as thyristor power regulator, thyristor power regulator or power regulator for short.

The working principle of the three-phase voltage regulator is to connect the four-layer three-terminal semiconductor device to the middle of the power supply and the load, and to adjust the voltage, current and power added to the load with the corresponding trigger control circuit board. It is mainly used for the heating power adjustment of various electric heating devices, which can be adjusted “manually”, and can be matched with electric regulating instruments, intelligent regulating instruments, PLC and computer control systems to achieve constant value or program control of heating temperature.

Three-phase voltage regulator operation precautions

1. When doing high pressure test, it must be participated by 2 or more people, and clearly do a good job of division of labor, clear contact methods between each other, and have a special person to monitor the safety of the site and observe the test status of the test product.

2. Three-phase voltage regulator and control box should be reliably grounded.

3. During the test, the voltage boost speed can not be too fast, and it is never allowed to suddenly turn on or off the full voltage.

4. In the process of boost or withstand voltage test, if the following abnormal conditions are found, the pressure should be immediately reduced, and cut off the power supply, stop the test, and find out the cause of the test. ① The voltmeter pointer swings greatly. ② Found that the insulation burnt odor, smoke phenomenon. ③ Abnormal sound in the tested object.

5. In the test, if the test product short circuit or breakdown, the oil immersed high voltage test transformer control box in the overcurrent relay work, at this time, the regulator back to zero, and cut off the power supply, the test can be taken out.

6. Capacitance test or DC high voltage leakage test, after the test is completed, the regulator is reduced to zero, and cut off the power supply, and then, the application of discharge rod will test the high voltage end of the capacitor to the ground to discharge, so as to avoid the danger of electric shock in the capacitor.
